CHARLOTTE NOWACK, ND
NATUROPATHIC PHYSICIAN
Dr. Charlotte Nowack is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and Resident Physician for Dr. Jason Wysocki at 8 Hearts Health & Wellness. She received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University California (BUC) in San Diego. Her clinical education focused on primary care, gastrointestinal health, mental health, mind-body medicine and biofeedback, and homeopathy.
Dr. Nowack works with her patients to develop their personal embodiment of health, understanding that this is unique for every individual. She has a passion for helping her patients feel at home in their own skin, recognizing that with changes in our health, our minds and bodies can sometimes feel foreign to us. Dr. Nowack works together with her patients to address these deeper levels of health to make powerful changes.
Mind-body medicine and biofeedback are some of the tools that Dr. Nowack teaches her patients to become more in tune with their bodies and thoughts. She believes that this gives her patients authority to reshape their wellness.
Dr. Nowack completed a one year clinical intensive in homeopathy and commonly prescribes homeopathic remedies in her practice. In this form of medicine, she finds one of the key elements is a highly comprehensive intake that allows her to understand the full scope of a patient’s problem. Dr. Nowack believes homeopathy encapsulates one of her core values as a physician: to provide the stimulation for a patient to heal themselves.
In addition, Dr. Nowack received in-depth training for diagnosing and treating SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth). She is also trained in several hands-on modalities including visceral manipulation.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Nowack enjoys reading novels, baking, and listening to podcasts.
